KT Syverina

KT Johnson-Roets (she/they) is an Oakland based caregiver who has been immersed in the vibrant world of Music Together for 23 years. This is their third as a teacher, and first as a mama to twins Camiel and Cassian!??Child of a New England area MT director, KT grew up in an exceptionally musical & playful family, and completed the MT teacher training in both 2012 and 2018. She has been teaching with EBMT since January 2021, and simply can’t wait to continue making sweet & joyful sounds with the wonderful families of the East Bay! ??Outside of MT classes, KT is a stay at home mom, occasional babysitter, and neurodivergency consultant. They like to spend free time exploring the great outdoors or making a joyful noise with their spouse and close friends, and building their community of chosen family & playmates!
